So, the other day, I was showing my artwork to someone, and they told me that my characters had no life. Of course I felt awful, not so much because of what they said, because I think that it's true, but because I love my characters any maybe I'm the only one that can see the life in them?

They said that I needed to draw backgrounds to give the character substance, and that colored squiggles didn't count (LOL) He said to un-static my poses, and draw more facial expression so that they wouldn't look like dolls.

*dies* So this is the goal I've made for myself this year: I want to draw on the computer for at least 45 minutes a day, but I'm going to try for an hour. I won't consider a picture 'finished' until I put a background on it. And I'm going to try a new facial expression every week.

If you guys would yell at me when I don't do this stuff, it would be great . I need to be held accountable, or I won't stick to it.

(P.S. I need a new book, and I haven't been able to find one (a novel) Does anyone have suggestions?)

Is anyone else bored of the nasty immature people that seem to be infesting Gaia now? Or maybe i'm just growing out of it? I don't like to play on it anymore, and I only check on Fridays for the EI report.

I'm on Menewsha a lot now, it took me a while to get into it, but more and more I'm loving how polite they are. (not to mention they know how to spell!)

Dunno. It makes me sad, especially because I love my avatar, but I don't know if its worth hanging around anymore.

Does anyone here own a Zune? My brother and I both bought one. (our mp3 players died at the same time???) and his came in the mail today.

It looks nice, and when we plugged it into my computer it had a 'charging' symbol on it. But now there isn't anything on the screen, it doesn't light up or turn on (We think? Dunno)

I went on the website to see, and I tried the suggestions there, and I don't think they worked. (or if they did, I couldn't tell)

So does anyone have an suggestions or ideas of what might be wrong?

Hey guys! I've been home for a while now, but for the past week I havn't really had a working computer. The school laptop is getting better, (still can't chat) and my personal computer should be up and running by Friday. (OMG YAY!!)

On to the manga eh? My family is having a garage sale, and I had some manga that I didn't want anymore, (but because I want to save for a doll) I decided to sell them.

Personally, I wouldn't pay more than a dollar or two for a book at a garage sale, so i decided that I wasn't going to sell them there. I think imma use Amazon, (if anyone knows how to do it, and wants to tell me it would be epic of you!) I just thought I would see if any friends wanted to see what I had first.

Dunno what imma sell them for, what do you think?
